The food's the thing, of course, but better still we enjoyed a delicious meal without a misstep, accompanied by wines by the glass from an uncommonly thoughtful list, with service that wasn't too pompous nor too breezy but just plain right. The restaurant wasn't very crowded on a rainy week night, but I'm frankly surprised that they're not turning people away every night of the week.
